Our Process
A glimpse into what it is like to acquire a protection dog from us.
Step 1.
Telephone Interview
During our initial call, we go through several qualifying questions to make sure that we are the right protection dog training service for your security needs. We then dig deeper to define the level of protection you expect your dog to provide, the environments and people they will be immersed in, and other aspects that are unique to your lifestyle.
Step 2.
Confirmation & Selection
In our second conversation, we ask for your commitment to begin the selection process. We will send you a contract to make things official, and solidify the unique characteristics that we will be looking for in your protection dog. During this process we also uncover any special circumstances that need to be factored into the training program. We contact our network of European breeders to find the perfect dog, and make our final selection. We share information at regular intervals as your dog is selected, purchased, and transported to us for training.
Step 3.
One-on-One Training
Once we have your dog at our training facility, we begin implementing our program. First we set a solid obedience foundation. Your dog will have exemplary manners and be completely off leash trained. This is extremely important when it comes to functional protection in the home. Next, your dog will go through our extensive protection program which will be tailored to your specific needs and wants. Some examples of commands are: bark by your side, guard a specific object/location, attack the threat, return to your side when asked and more.
Step 4.
Delivery & Transition Training
Once the program is complete, we will schedule to deliver your dog to your home. This takes place over a course of three days. We will help acclimate your dog to your home and also teach you all of the training. This includes obedience, personal protection, and any specific training previously discussed. After the delivery, we will always be available for any additional support.
